A Century of Experience in Engineering & Machining

With more than 100 years of experience as a machining and engineering shop, we take our role as industry leader very seriously. We consistently uphold the highest standards of quality and safety because we value the people that make our business possible – and that’s you: our customers and, of course, our skilled and valued team members. Founded in the early 1900s, today TR Savage & Son represents one of the most innovative and technologically competent tool rooms, CNC and general machining shops in Australia. From its inception, the company has been committed to the continual growth of both the business and the skills and knowledge base of its employees. The relocation in 1997 to a 2,800 square metre factory in Fairfield has enabled us to significantly expand our operation, thus outputting more and providing faster services for customers.

We endeavour to maintain a safe and efficient engineering machine shop where our expert engineers and apprentices can continually improve their skill by working with top of the line, cutting edge technology and machinery. The significance of this investment in our personnel is reflected in our customers' satisfaction.

We also operate a quality assurance system, meeting the AS/NZ ISO 9001-2008 international standards. All staff and employees of TR Savage & Son are committed to the company's quality policy and contribute to maintaining a high standard of product and service to our customers.

The advanced engineering machines in our shop mean we're able to see a job right through from conception to the final touches. Avoiding any outsourcing of work reduces the risk of error and allows us to maintain our commitment to you and quality finishes.
