Carousel To keep downtime to a minimum it is very important machinists are not spending time looking for tooling or supplies. To prevent this loss of productivity we introduced a Carousel system to assist with stock control. Our Logistics software allows us to allocate tooling as needed, to specific jobs and displays where the tooling is located within the Carousel. Once our Stock Controller has found the location using the software it takes him minutes to deliver the tooling to eager machinists.  Our fully integrated system also allows us to maintain records of usage, life expectancy and repairs made to tools and other components. The Carousels save on space and prevent any damages which could occur if the tooling was not securely housed.  With the tooling being kept in a central location with recorded re-order levels, we are able to prevent any ‘out of stock’ situations where last minute re-orders could cause major delays reflecting on schedules and delivery times.
